How To Make A To-Do-List

At some point in your life, you must have had some inspiration from somewhere and suddenly decided to get yourself organized, not waste time and get more out of each day. And invariably, you started with a To-Do-List. But a week later, you list is nowhere to be found. Within a couple of days you lost interest and returned to your old ways.

So how do we make a To-Do-List that is not just effective but also long-lasting?

Do not make your list on small scraps of paper; we have a tendency to lose such things. Even if you kept it in your wallet or pocket, it just remains there and you never remember to refer to it.

One way to ensure that you renew your list of works daily is by making the list when you are brushing your teeth in the morning.
Brushing your teeth is one of the first things you do every morning. All you need to do, is attach a small pocket pad and a pen next to your mirror. Now every morning while brushing your teeth or while relieving yourself in the bathroom, you have your pad and pen within your reach.

So while you are doing your morning rituals, you can start making your To-Do-List for the day.

Once your have filled up your list, put your pad in your trouser/bag/coat before leaving for work. Now you always have your list with you whenever you need to cross items out or add them.
And while you brush your teeth before going to bed (I hope you do that daily), you can again attach your pad and pen next to the mirror and even before the next day starts, you have started preparing yourself for it.
Try it out!
